Plumlife Homes is a multi-award-winning Shared Ownership and new homes specialist. Plumlife have been helping people get onto the property ladder and buy a quality new home for more than 25 years.
We not only sell to customers, but we help registered providers and other developers to market and sell their properties. We’re proud to be part of Great Places Housing Group, a profit for purpose organisation that gives back to its customers, communities and colleagues. Building and supporting great communities is at the heart of what we do.
The Plumlife team pride themselves on offering an unrivalled experience for both clients and home buyers alike. Whatever the tenure, whether it’s shared ownership or market sale, we have an experienced team that specialise in the nuances of both routes to market, ensuring that homes are sold with ease.
So we are delighted to announce that we’ll be working with Salford City Council who have appointed Plumlife as the sales agent at its flagship development, The Folds in Little Hulton.
The development is a mixed tenure site, including shared ownership, market sale and affordable rent properties. The Folds is part of a growing portfolio of residential sites to be developed by Salford City Council and Dérive – the council established independent housing provider. The Folds has been built to Passivhaus standards allowing for a high level of energy efficiency across the development. All properties benefit from HVAC systems that provide a high level of comfort and indoor-air quality, whilst reducing the overall energy usage.
Prior to being instructed as the sales agent at The Folds, we worked closely with the development team to provide a comprehensive pre-sales consultancy service to help get the development ready for sale.
As part of our pre-sales consultancy service, our team provided full market research, including demand analysis, neighbourhood intelligence and selling prices. Added to this was the benefit of our own team’s knowledge from selling a variety of homes in nearby areas. Through consultation we assisted in determining suitable tenures and provided expert suggestions for property mix, design, specification and pricing strategies.
After delivering this insight, the Plumlife team worked with Salford City Council to develop an exciting new brand which we are confident will appeal to the target market. With the new brand in place, the Plumlife marketing team can’t wait to share it with customers, deliver cut through campaigns and build a powerful mailing list that will convert into sales at The Folds.
Sales Manager, Iain Prideaux has been working closely with Salford City Council. He said: “It has been extremely exciting to work alongside Salford Council/Derive as they move forward with a large programme of development, including much-needed affordable housing.”
We can’t wait to welcome the first customers and for them to become part of The Folds. Homes are due to be released for sale in Autumn 2024. For more information and to register your interest, contact our friendly sales on sales@plumlife.co.uk or 0161 447 5050.
