When Dania decided to she wanted to get onto the property ladder, she weighed up her options and decided that Shared Ownership was the best route for her to take.
She said “when I was looking for a property, I looked at all of my options. I had a vague idea about what Shared Ownership was, but when I went to view the property I found out a lot more. At the end of the day, I decided that Shared Ownership was the best option for me.”
After some searching, she opted for a new Plumlife home in Wythenshawe, Manchester and bought an initial 50% share in January 2021.
Dania bought her property with the intention of one day owning her property outright through a process called ‘staircasing’. It didn’t take long for Dania to turn that dream into a reality, as in July 2023 she bought the remaining 50% share.
